بين الفكرة والسؤال يولد حوار مؤثّر.

شهدت ورشة ‘تقنيات كتابة وإدارة الحوارات المؤثرة’، ضمن مبادة ، جلسات تفاعلية مكّنت المشاركين من تطوير مهارات كتابة الحوارات وإدارتها، وصناعة نقاشات هادفة تُلهم الجمهور بما يعزز قدرتهم على تقديم حوارات ثقافية وإعلامية أكثر تأثيرًا وفاعلية.



Between an idea and a question, a powerful dialogue is born.

The ‘Mastering Techniques of Writing and Moderating Impactful Conversations’ workshop, part of the initiative, featured interactive sessions that enabled participants to develop their writing and moderation skills, to create meaningful conversations that inspire audiences. Attendees also enhanced their abilities to deliver impactful and effective cultural and media discussions.

August was a month brimming with experiences that blended creativity, innovation, and the spirit of Dubai.

شهدت فعالية ‘يوم المواهب’، التي تزامنت مع مبادرة ، لحظات جسّدت الإبداع في أبهى صوره، حيث قدّم المشاركون ثمرة ما اكتسبوه من مهارات وخبرات عبر أنشطة وبرامج مشروع ، في أجواء تفاعلية جمعت الفنون والأدب والابتكار في مكان واحد.

يؤكد هذا اليوم على دور المكتبات كمساحات تنبض بالثقافة والأدب، وتعزز المواهب لتمنحها الفرصة للتألّق.



Our Talent Day event, coinciding with the Dubai it initiative, showcased moments of pure creativity. Participants presented the fruits of their skills and experiences gained through activities and programmes from the initiative, in an interactive atmosphere that brought together art, literature, and innovation.

This day underscores the role of libraries as vibrant spaces for culture and literature, nurturing talent and giving it the opportunity to shine.

في سبتمبر، نخصّص فعاليتنا لتكريم إنجازات وإسهامات المرأة الإماراتية.
ونستقبل موسم العودة إلى المدارس من خلال برنامج حافل بالورش والتجارب الإبداعية، التي تأتي ضمن مشروع #مدارس-الحياة، وتفتح أبواب التعلّم والإبداع لجميع أفراد المجتمع.

حين يطلع ‘نجم سهيل’، تدرك السماء أن للفصول موعدًا، وللتراث حكاية لا تغيب.

سهيل نجمٌ حفر اسمه علامة في ذاكرة العرب، يترقّب الناس ظهوره كل عام. كان دليلًا اهتدى به الأوّلون، وبشّر بتغيّر الفصول، ورمزًا ارتبط بالمواسم والحياة منذ القدم.

هل رصدتموه في سماء دبي هذه السنة؟



When the star Canopus rises, the sky knows that the seasons have their appointed time, and that heritage has a story that will never fade.

Canopus is a star whose name is etched in the memory of the Arabs, and people eagerly await its appearance every year. It was a guide for the ancients, heralding the changing seasons, and a symbol linked to change and life since ancient times.

ضمن فعالياتنا التي تحتفي بيوم المرأة الإماراتية من خلال نماذج وطنية ملهمة وناجحة، استضفنا الدكتورة رفيعة غباش في جلسة حوارية بعنوان ‘المرأة الإماراتية، مسيرة عطاء وريادة’، استعرضت محطات من مسيرتها التي أسهمت في تعزيز مكانة المرأة الإماراتية في تأسيس المتاحف ومجالات التعليم والطب والعمل الثقافي والمجتمعي. كما تناولت رؤيتها ورسائلها إلى النساء، بما يعكس قيم الريادة والعطاء التي تجسدها المرأة الإماراتية.

تأتي هذه الجلسة ضمن مبادرة ‘حديث المكتبات’ والتي تندرج تحت مشروع .



As part of our celebrations of Emirati Women’s Day, featuring inspiring and successful role models, we held a dialogue session with Dr. Rafia Ghubash entitled ‘Emirati Women: A Journey of Giving and Leadership.’ She reviewed milestones in her career that contributed to enhancing the status of Emirati women in establishing museums and across the fields of education, medicine, and cultural and community work. Also, she shared her vision and messages to women, reflecting the values of leadership and giving that Emirati women embody.

This session is part of the Library Talks series, under the SchoolofLife initiative.
