Global Pulse Confederation - GPC Global Pulse Confederation GPC is headquartered in Dubai and licensed under the Dubai Government authority, Dubai Multi Commodity Centre (DMCC).

The Global Pulse Confederation (GPC, formerly known as CICILS-IPTIC) is the nonprofit association for the pulses industry value chain. GPC by the numbers:

- Enjoys membership from 18 national associations and over 600 private sector members.
- Represents an industry worth over $100 billion at the retail level.
- Pulses production is distributed in over 55 countries, and reaches over 60 million tonnes every year.

🇩🇰 GPC in Copenhagen: Connecting the global pulses industry with Denmark’s plant-based ecosystem.

We are bringing together leaders from the global pulses industry and Danish stakeholders for the GPC Copenhagen Engagement Programme, hosted in collaboration with the Vegetarian Society of Denmark (DVF) and Food Nation Denmark.

Through roundtable discussions, policy exchanges and visits to DTU BRIGHT and Novonesis, the programme explores how Denmark’s plant-based food strategy, research and technological innovation can create new opportunities across the global pulse value chain.

These conversations are essential to strengthening collaboration between industry, policymakers, researchers and innovators, identifying opportunities for growth and advancing more sustainable food systems.

GPC × Denmark | Copenhagen, 20–21 October 2026 🇩🇰

GPC, the Vegetarian Society of Denmark (DVF) and Food Nation are joining forces for a two-day programme bringing together global pulse industry leaders and Danish stakeholders for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration.

The programme will explore the global pulses market, Denmark’s plant-based policy initiatives, opportunities across the value chain, the role of innovation and new technologies in growing the pulses sector, and more.
