تأسست هيئة تنمية المجتمع بمرسوم من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي في يوليو 2008. تتولى الهيئة مسؤولية تنظيم وتطوير أطر التنمية المجتمعية في إمارة دبي لتحقيق غايات خطة دبي الاستراتيجية 2015 التي أعلن عنها سموه في فبراير 2007. كما تتولى هيئة تنمية المجتمع الإشراف العام على تحقيق مخرجات القطاع الاجتماعي من خلال إنشاء و إدارة

نظام متكامل وكفؤ للتنمية والخدمات الاجتماعية في الإمارة. ويتضمن ذلك إعداد الخطط الاستراتيجية الشاملة المتعلقة بالقطاع الاجتماعي والإشراف على تنفيذها واقتراح التشريعات المتعلقة بالخدمات الاجتماعية وتطوير جودة مخرجات قطاع التنمية الاجتماعية. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008. CDA is responsible for setting up and developing a framework for social development, and aims to achieve the goals outlined in the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 (DSP), as declared by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in February 2007. The Community Development Authority is responsible for the overall supervision to achieve social sector outputs, and provide the provisions of social services in order to create an integrated and efficient management system for the development of social services in the emirate. This includes the preparation, ex*****on, and supervision of comprehensive strategic plans, and proposing legislation related to social services to improve the outputs of the social development sector.

لأن جودة الحياة تُصنع أيضاً من التجارب التي نعيشها معاً، نظمت رحلة ترفيهية لأمهات مجلس كبار المواطنين بالتعاون مع قطارات الاتحاد، انطلقت من محطة أبوظبي إلى محطة الفجيرة، في تجربة جمعت بين الاستكشاف والفرح وقضاء أوقات مميزة معاً..

وتأتي هذه الرحلة ضمن حرص الهيئة على توفير تجارب نوعية لكبار المواطنين، تعزز مشاركتهم، وتمنحهم مساحات جديدة للترفيه والتواصل وصناعة الذكريات الجميلة.

The organised a leisure trip for Senior Citizens Council mothers in collaboration with Etihad Rail, travelling from Abu Dhabi Station to Fujairah Station in a journey filled with discovery, joy and memorable moments.

The trip reflects the Authority’s commitment to providing meaningful experiences for senior citizens that encourage their participation and create new opportunities for leisure, connection and lasting memories.

تتحدث ميثاء الشامسي، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع التمكين الاجتماعي في في دبي، عبر أثير إذاعة الأولى ضمن برنامج "رمسة العرب"، عن رحلة كبار المواطنين والمتقاعدين من منتسبي "أندية ذخر" إلى قيرغيزستان، وما تحمله من تجارب وذكريات ولحظات استثنائية.

كما تستعرض دور الهيئة في دعم كبار المواطنين، وتوفير تجارب نوعية تعزز مشاركتهم، وتثري حياتهم، وتدعم جودة حياتهم.

Maitha Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment Sector speaks on Al Oula Radio’s “Ramsat Al Arab” programme about the senior citizens and retirees from Thukher Clubs journey to Kyrgyzstan, and the experiences, memories and special moments it created.

She also highlights the Authority’s role in supporting senior citizens and providing meaningful experiences that encourage their participation, enrich their lives and enhance their quality of life.

ضمن برنامج المخيم الصيفي، نظم مركز صون للرعاية والتأهيل التابع لهيئة تنمية المجتمع ورشة عمل للأحداث برعاية جمعية توعية ورعاية الأحداث وبالتعاون مع مركز لوتاه التقني.
وخلال الورشة، تم تسليط الضوء على المجالات التي تتناسب مع اهتمامات الأحداث منها الميكانيك، النجارة، الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد، وكهرباء السيارات.

As part of the summer camp programme, the SOUN Center for care & rehabilitation, affiliated with the Community Development Authority, organised a workshop for young people, sponsored by the Juvenile Association and in collaboration with Lootah Technical Center.
The workshop introduced participants to fields aligned with their interests, including mechanics, carpentry, 3D printing and automotive electrical systems.

في إطار جهود بدبي لتطوير منظومة الخدمات الأسرية وتعزيز التكامل بين الجهات المعنية، نظمت الهيئة بالتعاون مع بناء المدينة ورشة اختصاصات المراكز الأسرية في مجلس الورقاء، بمشاركة ممثلين عن هيئة تنمية المجتمع، وشرطة دبي، ومحاكم دبي، ودائرة الشؤون الإسلامية والعمل الخيري، ومؤسسة دبي لرعاية النساء والأطفال.
 
وهدفت الورشة إلى تطوير نموذج متكامل لمراكز الرعاية الأسرية، بما يمهد لجمع الخدمات الأسرية الرئيسة في مكان واحد وتقديمها ضمن منظومة موحدة ومترابطة.

As part of its efforts to develop the family services ecosystem and strengthen coordination among relevant entities, the in Dubai, in collaboration with Binaa Al Madina, organised the Family Centres Roles and Responsibilities Workshop at Al Warqa Majlis, bringing together representatives from CDA, Dubai Police, Dubai Courts, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, and the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children.
The workshop aimed to develop an integrated model for family care centres, paving the way for key family services to be brought together in one place and delivered through a unified and interconnected system.

⁨ تواصل مبادرة "أعراس دبي" ترسيخ مكانتها كنموذج مجتمعي شامل ومستدام لتأسيس واستقرار الأسرة الإماراتية، متحولةً من خدمة تُيسّر إقامة حفلات الزفاف للمواطنين عند إطلاقها في مطلع عام 2024 إلى منظومة مؤسسية واسعة ومتكاملة تُقدم بالتعاون بين كافة الجهات المعنية في إمارة دبي.

وتأتي هذه النجاحات المجتمعية والتنموية بفضل التوجيهات المباشرة والمتابعة الحثيثة من سمو الشيخة هند بنت مكتوم بن جمعة آل مكتوم، حرم صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم؛ حيث يُعد "برنامج الشيخة هند بنت مكتوم للأسرة" المظلة الشاملة التي تنطلق منها المبادرة للربط بين تنظيم حفل الزفاف، والتأهيل التوعوي قبل الزواج، والدعم المالي والإسكاني، وصولاً إلى الاستشارات الأسرية المستدامة.

The "Dubai Weddings" initiative continues to establish itself as a comprehensive and sustainable community model for supporting the formation and stability of Emirati families. Since its launch in early 2024 as a service facilitating wedding celebrations for Emirati citizens, the initiative has evolved into a broad and integrated institutional programme delivered through collaboration among relevant entities across Dubai.

These social and developmental achievements have been driven by the direct guidance and close follow-up of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum. The Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme serves as the overarching framework through which the initiative connects wedding arrangements with pre-marital awareness and preparation, financial and housing support, and ongoing family counselling.

في أجواء تحمل الكثير من الفرح والتقدير، ودّعنا في مطار دبي الدولي نخبة من كبار المواطنين والمتقاعدين من منتسبي "أندية ذخر"، قبيل انطلاق رحلتهم إلى قيرغيزستان، ضمن مبادرة "فرجان دبي" برعاية هيئة تنمية المجتمع ودعم "خدمة الأمين".

تجربة مجتمعية تحتفي بجيلٍ قدّم الكثير، وتعزز التواصل والرفاه الاجتماعي، تقديراً لمكانتهم وإيماناً بأن خبراتهم وعطاءهم رصيد أصيل في مجتمع دبي.


We shared a joyful send-off at Dubai International Airport with a group of senior citizens and retirees from Thukher Clubs as they set off on their journey to Kyrgyzstan, as part of a Ferjan Dubai initiative sponsored by the Community Development Authority and supported by Al Ameen Service.

A community experience that celebrates a generation that has given so much, while strengthening social connections and wellbeing, in recognition of their valued place in society and the wealth of experience and contributions they bring to the Dubai community.

العطاء مستمر في اليوم الثاني من الفعالية التطوعية التي نظمتها بالتعاون مع مؤسسة دبي للمساهمات المجتمعية "جود" وأوقاف دبي في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي ضمن مبادرة "العودة للمدارس"، لتجهيز وتوزيع المستلزمات المدرسية للطلبة.

وتوفر المبادرة للطلبة مستلزمات مدرسية تتناسب مع احتياجاتهم وفئاتهم العمرية.

Giving continues on the second day of the volunteering event organised by the Community Development Authority, in collaboration with Dubai Community Contributions Establishment JOOD and Awqaf Dubai, at Dubai World Trade Centre as part of the “Back to School” initiative, which focuses on preparing and distributing school supplies to students.

The initiative provides students with school supplies tailored to their needs and age groups.
