Taqdeer Award has been launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council to honour labourers and construction companies for excellence. It is the world’s first points-based award programme, aimed at encouraging construction companies to set international benchmarks in labour practices enhance re

lationship between companies and workers. The Taqdeer Award targets construction companies in its first cycle will be extended to other areas in the future. The award reflects Dubai’s serious efforts in the area of enhancing employer-employee relationship and aims to enhance awareness among labourers about their rights and duties, encouraging workers to contribute their best, while setting international benchmarks in labour welfare practices.

ضمن جهود الإدارة العامة للهوية وشؤون الأجانب بدبي في تعزيز صحة وسلامة القوى العاملة، وبالتعاون مع الأحواض الجافة العالمية - دبي، نُفذت مبادرة ، بهدف رفع الوعي بمخاطر التعرض المباشر لأشعة الشمس خلال فترة الظهيرة، وتعزيز الممارسات الوقائية في بيئات العمل.

واستضاف الأحواض الجافة العالمية - دبي فعاليات المبادرة، التي تضمنت محاضرات توعوية وفحوصات صحية ميدانية، في إطار الشراكة الهادفة إلى تعزيز بيئة عمل آمنة وصحية، وترسيخ ثقافة الوقاية والحفاظ على صحة وسلامة العاملين.
