From 200+ Nominees to 20: DMP UAE 2026 Sets Stage for Crucial Deliberation
DUBAI, UAE — The search for the Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino (DMP) sa UAE 2026 is moving into a crucial stage as more than 200 nominees from across the United Arab Emirates have now been narrowed down to 20 finalists.
These 20 outstanding Filipino workers have successfully passed the initial screening and will advance to the highly anticipated Deliberation Round, where they will have the opportunity to share their stories before a distinguished panel of judges.
The deliberation is scheduled for August 23, 2026, at Khalidiya Hotel. During the session, the panel will listen closely to the personal journeys of the finalists—their struggles, sacrifices, achievements, and contributions to their families, workplaces, communities, and faith.
The DMP search is anchored on four key criteria that define the qualities of a truly Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino: Dakila sa Pamilya – recognizing those who demonstrate love, responsibility, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to their families. Dakila sa Trabaho – honoring individuals who exemplify dedication, excellence, integrity, and commitment in the workplace. Dakila sa Komunidad – recognizing Filipino workers who go beyond their professional responsibilities and contribute meaningfully to the community. Dakila sa Pananampalataya – highlighting individuals whose faith, values, compassion, and service inspire others.
The deliberation will be a defining moment for the 20 finalists. Beyond achievements and credentials, the panel will seek to understand the stories behind each nominee and the values that have guided them throughout their journey as Filipino workers in the UAE.
Following the deliberation, the Top 10 Finalists will be selected. They will advance to the next stage and earn the opportunity for the prestigious title Grand Winner of the Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino sa UAE.
Each finalist carries a story of courage, perseverance, sacrifice, and service—a story that represents not only personal achievement but also the strength and spirit of the Filipino community in the UAE.
The journey continues. Twenty stories will be heard. Ten will move forward. And one will ultimately rise as the Grand Winner.
