- Review and audit the patent registration requirements in terms of completeness and compatibility with WIPO in case of international applications.
- Prepare the patent application in full requirements and file it in the patents office in ministry of economy.
- Make follow up of patent application status with the government offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Write the official correspondences relating to government decisions like appeals against refusal of application.
- Follow up the late filing process for any missing documents and deliver it on-time to the government patents office.
- Prepare patent form in the examination phase as per government patents office requirements.
- Prepare the needed adjustments for patents as per the client request in accordance with government policies and procedures in this matter.
- Prepare all type of requests of patent transfer or deed of assignments.
- Follow and pay the annual fees for each patent on time.
2. Trademarks:
- Review and audit the trademark registration requirements in terms of completeness and compatibility with UAE government requirements.
- Prepare the trademark application in full requirements and file it in the trademarks office in ministry of economy.
- Make follow up of trademark application status with the government offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Write the official correspondences relating to government decisions like appeals against refusal of applications and registrations.
- Follow up the late filing process for any missing documents and deliver it on-time to the government trademark office.
- Prepare the publishing forms for approved marks and follow up the trademark journal every month.
- Make regular review for our clients’ marks in case of fraudulent actions or miss use by competitors.
- Prepare the needed adjustments for trademarks as per the client request in accordance with government policies and procedures in this matter.
- Prepare all type of requests of trademark transfer of ownership or deed of assignments.
- Attending the hearing sessions assigned by the official courts in UAE for trademark cases.
