حين تكون الريادة قصة أم، يصبح الطموح إرث ابنة.

في لقاء عفوي جمع "د.نورة عبدالرحمن المدفع"، أول إماراتية تنال شهادة دكتوراه من الولايات المتحدة الأميريكية، وابنتها "عزة أبو علم"، تتلاقى حكاية جيل صنع البدايات مع جيل يواصل المسيرة.

جيل يروي إنجازاته، وجيل يحمل الراية… وفي القلب وطنٌ لا يعرف المستحيل.

فريادة المرأة الإماراتية لا تتوقف عند جيل، بل تمتد لتلهم أجيالاً من الطموح والإنجاز، وتواصل مسيرة وطن آمن بقدراتها منذ البداية.

When a mother is a pioneer, ambition becomes a daughter’s legacy.

A candid conversation between Dr. Noura Al Midfa, the first Emirati woman to earn a doctorate in the United States, and her daughter, Azza Aboualam, brings together two generations of Emirati women, one that helped pave the way and another that continues the journey today.

One generation looks back on what it has achieved, while the next builds on that legacy, united by a country where ambition knows no limits.

The story of Emirati women has never belonged to one generation. It continues through the women who follow, inspired by a country that has believed in their potential from the very beginning.

في عالم يمضي سريعًا، يدعونا التصوير لأن نتمهّل قليلًا، ونلتفت إلى التفاصيل الصغيرة واللحظات العابرة التي قد تصبح يومًا ذكرى لا تُقدّر بثمن.

في خورفكان، يقف مسجد سالم المطوع شاهداً على تاريخ يمتد لأكثر من قرنين، ليُجسد جانباً من الإرث المعماري والثقافي للإمارة.

ويُعد المسجد أحد أقدم مسجدين في المدينة، كما خُلّد على الورقة النقدية الإماراتية من فئة الـ5 دراهم، ليصبح جزءاً من ذاكرة المكان والهوية الوطنية. وقد أُعيد ترميمه عام 2011، وسُمّي باسم إمامه، فيما تميّزه مئذنته المفتوحة ذات التصميم الفريد الذي يشبه القوس.



Standing in Khorfakkan, Salem Al Mutawa Mosque reflects more than two centuries of Sharjah’s history, preserving a remarkable part of the emirate’s architectural and cultural heritage.

Recognised as one of the city’s two oldest mosques, it was also featured on the UAE’s AED 5 banknote, becoming a lasting symbol of the nation’s identity. Restored in 2011 and renamed after its imam, the mosque is especially known for its distinctive open minaret, designed in the shape of an arch.

قصة بدأت ببذرة... وأثمرت إرثًا من العطاء. 🌱

رحلة  هلال سيف الكندي مع الزراعة بدأت منذ طفولته. وأصبحت الزراعة بالنسبة له أسلوب حياة ورسالة يحملها بكل شغف.

بصبرٍ استمر سنوات، وبحبٍ للأرض لا ينقطع، ساهم في تحويل مزرعته إلى مصدر خير يستفيد منه الجميع؛ الناس والطيور والحيوانات. ولم يقتصر أثره على مزرعته فحسب، بل امتد إلى محيطه، حيث زرع في مجتمعه روح العطاء، وشجّع من حوله على الاهتمام بالأرض والإيمان بقيمة الزراعة.

في كلباء، لا تُزرع الأشجار من أجل الثمار فقط، بل تُزرع من أجل المستقبل، ودعم الأمن الغذائي، وترك أثرٍ يبقى للأجيال القادمة.

Hilal Saif Al Kindi’s journey with farming began in childhood, and over the years, agriculture became more than a profession. It became a way of life and a passion-driven mission.

With years of patience and a deep love for the land, he transformed his farm into a source of goodness that benefits everyone; people, birds, and animals alike. His impact extends far beyond his farm, inspiring those around him to care for the land, embrace the value of agriculture, and cultivate a spirit of giving within the community.

In Kalba, trees are planted not only to bear fruit, but to invest in the future, strengthen food security, and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
