Background:
Youth in economic development afghan women org (YEDAWO) is a non-governmental organization established and reregistered on 2008 with the Economic Ministry of Afghanistan recently for the purpose of launching and deployment of main aims for supporting and committing of it’s short
-term as well as its long-term objectives, for civilizing of Afghanistan’s rural communities based on its executives visions to take part for extension of its capacity and capability in Afghanistan’s reconstruction and rehabilitation process. The organization wants and would like to have close cooperation with the sister donor agencies for implementing a number of projects which involves and relates to the educational, physical, inspirational and intellectual rehabilitation and civilization of Afghanistan. As it’s observable and perceptible that the womenfolk (widows also) are living in the crisis situations in most parts of the country and do not have the abilities and allowance because of the rural and traditional stipulations to at least have some incomes for affording their own personal and family expenses. YEDAWO is eager to take into consideration and give the priority to those projects which aims the prime challenges such as the utilization of rural womenfolk in the process of democracy initiation and development especially in provinces in which the women are not allowed by their dictator family members to have their preliminary rights. As YEDAWO recognizes the traditional, rural environment and women limited civilized situation of life in Afghanistan and its populations based on its assessments in different province of Afghanistan, but still would like to implement its hard efforts and endeavors for the accomplishment of educational, vocational and income generation projects for providing opportunities to emotionally and physically support the women society for taking part in the evolution and realization of their abilities for the process of their society development within the country. YEDAWO always as an implementer with its comprehensive and cognitive understanding would be liable and transparent to all the respective and delectable donors and their authorities’ expectations about the monitoring and ensuring themselves of the management, quantity, quality, safety and total quality control aspects during the completion and accomplishment of the donated projects. Besides, the majority of Afghan women need to be employed to work for the demonstration of their skills building, recognition and realization of their creative abilities in the development process of their society and their communities for revealing the importance of their existence in rural and traditional communities. Providing the possibilities of work for living, reverting and returning of emigrants to their homeland, facilitation of education and training programs for disables would be concepts and methods for the reduction of opium cultivation, drugs production, traffic and other anti-humanitarian weapons, providing feasibilities for changes and developments in traditional, social, cultural, and technical factors and services are the main goals and visions of Youth in Economic Development afghan Women Org (YEDAWO) to be achieve eagerly with the support of humanitarian and other international donors and agencies. Vision:
YEDAWO Believes that: a society can be holistically developed and prosper when its people are aware and are able to determine their own destiny both socially and economically. Definition:
YEDAWO therefore undertakes its project on the basis of self-help of the people concerned identification, formulation, implementation, project maintenance and evaluation
People will gain awareness when they live in a civil society and act as responsible individuals. This is possible when the government is really representing the people and tries to benefits them . the government can truly represent the people when it is established jointly with the civil society , to contribute the civil society and the government . Future plane :
YEDAWO Future plan is to provide facility and motivate trainees to work more to achieve positive result to start their own projects in the future. Above all YEDAWO will try to establish and empower a strong linkage between community and the donors in order to implement useful projects covering the necessity of the people. Another achievement will be in the field of ball making and that will be a contract with an international company and YEDAWO is trying to have close linkage with them as well.
