I have been monitoring this site for coastal erosion for over twenty five years.....the seaweed has slowed the erosion and the dredging operation has caused some deposition but the erosion continues.

Day 1....return to Winthropes Bay. The severe drought conditions for archaeological survey work. The site is much bigger than we thought. Lots of Spondlyus Americanus (American Thorny Oyster)....were used to make beads and other ornaments.
