❤️🌊 St. Valentine’s Day Outing – Breakfast at the Beach! 🌊❤️
In advance celebration of Valentine’s Day, the patrons of the St. Vincent de Paul Daycare Centre for Seniors enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on the beach on February 13, 2026 — and what a memorable morning it was!
Dressed festively in red shirts, our clients departed the Centre at 8:30 a.m. and traveled by bus to the breathtaking Hermitage Bay on Antigua’s southwestern coast. Against the backdrop of sun, sea, and sand, patrons shared fellowship and laughter while enjoying a delicious breakfast and a comforting cup of hot tea — lovingly prepared at the Centre.
True to our mandate of stewardship, we ensured that the beach was left just as pristine as we found it, adhering to a strict clean-up protocol after our picnic.
A heartfelt thank you to the National School Bus System, our dedicated staff, supportive family members, and of course our wonderful patrons who made this outing so special.

💙✨ Celebrating Catholic Education Week at St. Vincent de Paul Daycare Centre for Seniors ✨💙
On Tuesday, January 27, we were delighted to welcome the students of Christ the King High School (CKHS) and St. Joseph’s Academy (SJA) to the St. Vincent de Paul Daycare Centre for Seniors in celebration of Catholic Education Week.
As always, the visit was warmly received by our patrons, whose smiles and joyful spirits were lifted by the presence, kindness, and enthusiasm of the students. The interaction beautifully reflected this year’s theme, “We Are Called to Love,” as young and old came together in a spirit of compassion, respect, and shared community.
Moments like these remind us of the power of connection and the importance of living out our faith through love, service, and meaningful relationships.
Thank you to the students, teachers, and staff of CKHS and SJA for continuing this cherished tradition and for bringing hope and joy to our Centre. 💖🙏

We're thrilled to share the joyous moments from our recent outing on Valentine’s Day to the iconic Fort James in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda! 🏰🌅

🚶‍♀️ Scenic Stroll: Our lovely patrons had the incredible opportunity to explore the historic Fort James, soaking up the rich history while taking in the breathtaking views of St. John's Harbour. The cool breezes from the harbor made the stroll even more delightful! 🌊🏞️

📜 Step Back in Time: Fort James, built in 1706, stands as a testament to Antigua and Barbuda's history. Fear of a French invasion led to its construction, and today, its remnants, including a powder magazine and cannons, tell a fascinating tale of the 18th century. 🏰📖

🍹 Refreshments in Style: Our amazing staff took care of our patrons, ensuring they enjoyed light refreshments with a side of excellent service. It's all about creating unforgettable memories! 🍃🥂

👵🤝👴 Community Bonding: The camaraderie among our seniors blossomed during this outing. Laughter echoed within the historic walls as friendships deepened, making it a day filled with warmth and joy. ❤️👫
