Every child with autism has their own unique strengths. 💙
Dr. Temple Grandin once shared that as a child, she had intense focus, visual thinking, sensory sensitivities, and a strong need for routine — traits that later became part of her success.

Instead of trying to “fix” differences, let’s help our children grow through understanding, support, and patience. Small steps today can become something amazing in the future. ✨

“Different, not less.” — Dr. Temple Grandin

Does your child sensory seek? Its there way of regulating their emotions.

Most people see “too much energy.”
What they don’t see is a child trying to regulate their world.

Once you understand that… everything changes.

The reality of having chairs with a disability.

This is so relevant and important to learn about inclusion.

Church is meant to be a place of love, safety and belonging… but for many parents of children with additional needs, it doesn’t always feel that way.

I’ve personally witnessed a mom struggling with her daughter, she looked around 10. She was making sounds, screaming, fidgeting… clearly overwhelmed. Instead of compassion, people stared. The side eyes. The silent judgement. The looks that say “please train your child.”

Moments like these are why so many families choose to stay home.

We love church. We want to be there. But the environment has to feel safe for our children too.

Awareness is so important. Churches can be more inclusive by understanding these conditions, planning around sensory needs, creating safe spaces, and offering support instead of judgement.

A welcoming church doesn’t just preach love, it practices it… especially towards the families who need it most.
