IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT PARTICIPATES IN CAREERS FAIR 2026

Immigration Officers were excited to participate in the 2026 Careers Fair, engaging with students and job seekers to showcase the important work of the Immigration Department. We extend our sincere thanks to the Anguilla Careers Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the ALHCS, for the kind invitation to take part in this event.

We also want to acknowledge and thank Immigration Officers, Nimervia Reid, Aliyah Rey and Stephanie Ryan for their participation, sharing their knowledge, experiences and guidance with attendees.

Events like this provide a valuable opportunity to inspire the next generation, highlight career opportunities in Immigration, and promote public service in our community.

Condolences on the Passing of Mr. Kenneth W. Brooks

The Immigration Department extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends, fellow colleagues and loved ones of Mr. Kenneth W. Brooks.

Mr. Brooks, Senior Immigration Officer (Retired), will be remembered for his optimism and hard work. His commitment to public service and his contributions to the work of the Immigration Department were deeply appreciated.

Beyond his professional role, he was a valued colleague and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

May his soul rest in peace.

Congratulations to the newest Immigration Officers who have successfully completed the Immigration Training held from 8th – 11th December 2025.

Below is an overview of the training areas covered, along with the facilitators who led each session.
Customer Service – Amorelle Bryan-Hodge, Deputy Chief Immigration Officer (Administration)
Main Office Operations – Amorelle Bryan-Hodge, DCIO assisted by Luisa Dada-Gumbs, Senior Immigration Officer
Border Management Information System (OTRCIS), Passport Examination, Fraudulent Documents, Border Security and Enforcement Unit - Ivor Hull, Deputy Chief Immigration Officer (Operations)
Ports of Entry Operations – Jillian Stott, Principal Immigration Officer
Visa Unit Operations – Sheneka Connor, Senior Immigration Officer
Prosecution – Rohan Forbes, Senior Immigration Officer

The training was held from 8th – 11th December 2025

Officers who participated in the training were: Jelique Shillingford, Romain Hodge, Mariska Matthew, Kalyn Mairyshaw, Latoya Gumbs, Shanice Monzac, Makelah Romney, Jauquan Brown and Lornecia Connor.

We wish them all the best as they continue to grow, serve and excel.

IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT CONGRATULATES NEW SENIOR IMMIGRATION OFFICERS

The Immigration Department is pleased to congratulate three officers on their promotion to Senior Immigration Officers, effective December 1, 2025.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Mrs. Luisa Dada-Gumbs, Ms. Sheneka Connor, and Mr. Jevauno Richardson, who previously served as Immigration Officers II (Supervisors), and have now assumed their new roles.

The management and staff of the Immigration Department wish them every success in their new positions and look forward to their contributions to the department’s continued success.
