Our story : mission and vision
The Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Armenia was established on the 16th of May, 2018 according to the official appointment of the Honorary Consul Mr. Harutyun Hayrapetyan by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland.
The main impetus of opening the Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Armenia is the intention to build and develop new governmental diplomatic relations between Iceland and Republic of Armenia, which can additionally suppose forming of new types of the relations in trade, economic and cultural aspects.
Besides the main diplomatic mission, the Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Armenia aims to serve as a bridge for realization of various matchmaking business and trade development programs and establishing long-term business relations between Icelandic and Armenian entrepreneurs, introducing Armenian historical and cultural heritage to Icelandic people and vice versa.
Thus, the activity of the Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Armenia seeks to create strong ties between two countries’ people in all respect giving them opportunity to discover new unknown horizons.
