Diaconia Charitable Fund (formerly Armenian Help Center) was founded in December of 1988 after the devastating Earthquake which shook Armenia. Based on christian identity and values, DCF Mission is not only to ensure that help doesn’t just come where it is needed, but that it is the launchpad for a growth and development process. We are dedicated for an Armenia in which people, and especially chil

dren, overcome the pressures and restrictions of external need, to become strong and solid pillars of a forward-moving, stable Armenian society. Our programs mirror this target and are focused among others on children, development programs and emergency response, which we implement in all regions of Armenia.

Շողակաթ գյուղի զարգացման կենտրոնում երեխաները հավաքվում են՝ սովորելու, ստեղծելու, բացահայտելու և իրենց ուժերին հավատալու համար։

Children from Shoghakat village tell us why they chose robotics at the Diaconia Development Center.

For our teaching staff working with children is a priority. Through alternative education, we help them grow, express themselves, discover their own strengths and abilities 💕 and also find their direction when it comes to choosing a profession.

This time, we spoke with Sasun, Aren, Aram, Avet, Grigor, and David.

English below: Ռուբինա Ավանեսյանը, այցելելով Շողակաթում գտնվող զարգացման կենտրոն, ռոբոտաշինության դասերի ընթացքում ստեղծել է ավտոմատ ջերմոց, որը բաղկացած է ջերմաստիճանը, խոնավությունը և հողի վիճակը չափող սենսորներից։
Այս նախագիծը Ռուբինայի համար ոչ միայն տեխնիկական փորձ էր, այլև ապացույց, որ գիտելիքը կարող է լուծել իրական խնդիրներ։ Այստեղ երեխաների աչքերը փայլում են ամեն շարժվող մեխանիզմի հետ։ Փոքր ձեռքերով հավաքված յուրաքանչյուր ռոբոտ ապացույց է, որ գաղափարն իրականություն է դառնում աշխատասիրության շնորհիվ։

✨Շնորհակալություն մեր բարեգործներին, որոնց օգնությամբ այս ամենը դառնում է իրականություն։ Ձեր աջակցությամբ երեխաները ստանում են գիտելիք, վստահություն և հույս ապագայի հանդեպ։ Ձեր ներդրումը պարզապես օգնություն չէ, այլ հենարան ստեղծող, մտածող և աշխարհը դեպի լավը փոխող սերնդի համար։ _________________________________________ Rubina Avanesyan, visiting the development center in Shoghakat, created an automatic greenhouse during robotics classes, which consists of sensors that measure temperature, humidity and soil condition.
This project was not only a technical experience for Rubina, but also proof that knowledge can solve real problems through robotics. Here, children's eyes shine with every moving mechanism. Each robot assembled by small hands is proof that an idea becomes a reality thanks to hard work.
