სირანუშ აგაჯანიანი თანამედროვე ხელოვანი, მკვლევარი და ფირდუსის ხელოვნების სტუდიის დამფუძნებელია. მისი ნამუშევრები მეხსიერების, წინააღმდეგობის, ომისა და ქალის სხეულის თემებს ქუჩის ხელოვნების, საჯარო ინტერვენციებისა და საგამოძიებო მეთოდების გამოყენებით იკვლევს. ურბანული სივრცის გარდაქმნის საპასუხოდ აგაჯანიანმა ფირდუსის ხელოვნების სტუდია დააფუძნა. დროთა განმავლობაში ამ ინიციატივას სხვა ხელოვანებიც შეუერთდნენ რის შედეგადაც სტუდია კულტურის საჯარო ცენტრად და ცოცხალ სახელოვნებო გარემოდ იქცა.

ფირდუს 48: ხელოვნება და სივრცე, როგორც წინააღმდეგობა
თავის გამოსვლაში სირანუშ აგაჯანიანი ისაუბრებს ფირდუსის ხელოვნების სტუდიის, როგორც წინააღმდეგობის სივრცის განვითარებაზე, იმ ადგილზე, სადაც მეხსიერება ურბანულ აქტივიზმს ხვდება. პრეზენტაცია მოიცავს აგაჯანიანისა და სტუდიის სხვა წევრების ინტერვენციების ამსახველ ვიზუალურ მასალებსა და ვიდეოებს. შეხვედრას ღია დიალოგის ფორმატი ექნება და დამსწრე საზოგადოებას დისკუსიაში ჩართვას შესთავაზებს.

პროექტი ხორციელდება ახალი დემოკრატიის ფონდის პროგრამის ფარგლებში დანიის კულტურის ინსტიტუტის მხარდაჭერით.

Siranush Aghajanyan is a contemporary artist, researcher, and the founder of Firdus Art Studio. Her work explores themes of memory, resistance, war, and the female body, incorporating street art, installations, public interventions, and investigative research methods. In response to the transformations of urban space, Aghajanyan initiated the founding of Firdus Art Studio. Over time, other artists joined the initiative, contributing to the studio’s evolution into a public cultural centre and a vibrant artistic environment.

Firdus 48: Art and Space as Resistance
In her talk, Siranush Aghajanyan will present the development of Firdus Art Studio as a space of resistance, where art intersects with memory and urban activism. The presentation will include visual materials and videos showcasing interventions by Aghajanyan and other members of the studio. The session will be held in an open dialogue format, encouraging discussion and exchange with the audience.

This project is supported by the Danish Cultural Institute through the New Democracy Fund.

Նախագծի հիմնական նպատակն է խթանել համագործակցությունը գեղարվեստական մասնագիտություններով զբաղվող ուսանողների միջև։
Արդյունքում ՆՓԱԿ֊ում կկայանա ուսանողների կողմից համադրված, ձևավորված և ինքնուրույն կազմակերպված* ցուցահանդես։

Էլիզաբետա Սիրանին (1638–1665) իտալացի բարոկկո դարաշրջանի նկարիչ էր Բոլոնյայից։ Նա ծնվել է 1638 թվականի հունվարի 8-ին նկարչի՝ Ջովաննի Անդրեա Սիրանիի ընտանիքում, ով եղել է Գվիդո Ռենիի աշակերտը։

Ահա մի քանի փաստ նրա մասին․

✴️Սիրանին ստացել է գեղարվեստական կրթություն իր հոր արվեստանոցում և շատ արագ դրսևորել է իր տաղանդը։ Արդեն 19 տարեկանում նա դարձել է անկախ նկարիչ և, հոր հիվանդության պատճառով, ստանձնել է ընտանեկան արվեստանոցը։

✴️Էլիզաբետա Սիրանին (1638–1665) իտալացի բարոկկո դարաշրջանի նկարիչ էր Բոլոնյայից։ Նա ծնվել է 1638 թվականի հունվարի 8-ին նկարչի՝ Ջովաննի Անդրեա Սիրանիի ընտանիքում, ով եղել է Գվիդո Ռենիի աշակերտը։

✴️Սիրանին ստացել է գեղարվեստական կրթություն իր հոր արվեստանոցում և շատ արագ դրսևորել է իր տաղանդը։ Արդեն 19 տարեկանում նա դարձել է անկախ նկարիչ և, հոր հիվանդության պատճառով, ստանձնել է ընտանեկան արվեստանոցը։

✴️Նա ստեղծել է ավելի քան 200 կտավ, 15 փորագրություն և հարյուրավոր գծանկարներ՝ աշխատելով մեծ արագությամբ և ընդգրկելով տարբեր թեմաներ՝ կրոնական և դիցաբանական տեսարաններից մինչև դիմանկարներ։ Սիրանին նաև հիմնադրել է Եվրոպայի առաջին գեղարվեստի դպրոցը կանանց համար, որը գտնվել է ոչ թե վանքում, այլ աշխարհիկ միջավայրում։ Նա դասավանդել է թե՛ տղամարդկանց, թե՛ կանանց, այդ թվում՝ իր քույրերին՝ Բարբարային և Աննա Մարիային։

✴️Նրա կյանքը ողբերգականորեն ավարտվել է 1665 թվականի օգոստոսի 28-ին, երբ նա 27 տարեկան էր։ Նրա մահը տեղի է ունեցել խորհրդավոր հանգամանքներում։ Սակայն նրա արվեստը շարունակել է ճանաչվել ու ցուցադրվել, ապացուցելով նրա մեծ ներդրումը արվեստի պատմության մեջ։

Any day is a good day to celebrate women, their role in society and achievements, but March 8 reminds us of the long struggle for female emancipation, which continues worldwide. Hence, a key focus of ManBan Archive’s collection is the work of Armenian and international women artists.
Among them, Gohar Fermanyan (1899-1958) is crucial as one of the first Soviet-Armenian women to receive academic training. Born in Tiflis, she studied at VKHUTEIN in Leningrad under Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin before moving to Yerevan in 1927. She became active in the local art scene, teaching at the Technical College, exhibiting, and working on public projects. Trained as a monumentalist, she drafted large-scale frescoes, but none were realized. Instead, she developed a distinct painting style influenced by primitivism and various strands of expressionism. Her early work aligned with the avant-garde trends, aiming to express the radical transformations of the socialist reality and often depicted the proletariat, Armenia’s industrialization, and modern women.
However, with the onset of Stalinist repressions in the 1930s, Fermanyan abandoned this experimental trajectory to avoid persecution, adopting a more conservative style in line with socialist realism. Yet, avant-garde concepts lingered in her later work, as seen in Woman in Red Blouse from ManBan’s collection. Likely painted in the early 1940s, the portrait’s dramatic asceticism with its minimalist palette of red, white and blue characterises Fermanyan’s interest in reducing the visual subject to distinct color fields, while drawing attention to the painterly surface with bold brushstrokes and blank canvas areas.. The psychological depth of the young woman’s portrayal highlights her intellectual and professional presence, resisting objectification and allegory, which were so prevalent in mid-20th-century depictions of women in Armenian and global art.
