FSDEA Scholarship Program

As part of the FSDEA’s Social Charter mandate, Angolan youth are being given the opportunity to study abroad in Switzerland.

As part of the FSDEA’s Social Charter mandate, the ‘Future Leaders of Angola’ scholarship program, aims to play a leading role in supporting the development of Angola’s financial services sector, which is crucial to the long term economic growth of the country. As part of this initiative, Angolan youth have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Switzerland. The program will harness the pot

ential of young talent and provide them with the global expertise and the right set of skills to develop a career in Angola upon the completion of the course. This will in turn give further impetus to the country’s overall economy. The program provides talented young graduates from Angola with the opportunity to undertake a six month diploma entitled ‘Future Leaders of Angola’ at Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. As a part of this initiative, the Fund has initially offered 45 scholarships to students during the course of 2014-2015.
