Every August 13, Tunisia celebrates National Women’s Day, commemorating the promulgation of the Personal Status Code in 1956, a significant milestone for women’s rights.

On 30 July, on the occasion of the 27th Anniversary of the Enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the International Association of Gendarmeries and Police Forces with Military Status (FIEP) extends its warmest congratulations to the Kingdom of Morocco on this significant national occasion.

The FIEP Service Organization Commission successfully concluded in Santiago, Chile 🇨🇱, marking the completion of the fourth and final Commission held under the Presidency of the Gendarmería Nacional Argentina 🇦🇷.

Over the course of the Commission, experts and representatives from FIEP Member Institutions exchanged experiences, best practices and innovative approaches aimed at strengthening service organization and the protection of strategic targets.

The FIEP Presidency extends its sincere appreciation to Carabineros de Chile 🇨🇱 for their warm hospitality, excellent organization and commitment to the success of this important international meeting.

We also thank all participating delegations for their valuable contributions, which continue to strengthen cooperation, mutual trust and the exchange of knowledge within the FIEP community.

Together, we continue building a stronger and more united FIEP.

Today marks the beginning of the Service Organization Commission in Santiago, Chile 🇨🇱, hosted by the Carabineros de Chile, as the fourth and final working session under the presidency of the Gendarmería Nacional Argentina 🇦🇷.

This meeting represents the last of the four working sessions scheduled during the current presidency, framed under the theme: “Protection of Strategic Targets: New Challenges for Gendarmerie-Type Forces.”

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Carabineros de Chile 🇨🇱 for hosting this event and for their continued commitment to strengthening international cooperation among FIEP member institutions.

As the closing commission of this presidency, the meeting provides an opportunity to review the progress achieved throughout the year, exchange best practices in service organization, and reinforce collaborative approaches to addressing the evolving challenges faced by gendarmerie-type and police forces.

We also express our gratitude to all member institutions for their active participation and valuable contributions throughout this presidency, which have strengthened cooperation, mutual trust, and the shared commitment to enhancing public security.
