A big thank you to everyone who joined our Expat V QuizNight at Muut Offices Götzis – it was fantastic! 🎉

Congratulations to the winning team! 🏆 There were some tricky questions about Vorarlberg, Austria, and the wider world that kept everyone on their toes.

What made it really special was seeing how a simple quiz can bring people together who hadn’t met before – and by the end, many had swapped numbers and were deep in conversation. 🤝💡

Many thanks to the Wirtschaftskammer Vorarlberg for sponsoring the prizes – just a perfect fit for the weather last week 😂 ☔

We recently had the chance to visit Buschenschank Nachbaur in Röthis with a wonderful group of people from different countries. 🍇

At one of the few wine-growing estates in Vorarlberg, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Rhine Valley and felt very welcome in this traditional family-run tavern. 🌄

There was plenty of local food to try – classic Vorarlberg cheese and cold cuts – accompanied by homemade grape juice and wine from the vineyard. 🧀

It was simply a lovely evening to meet new people, exchange stories, and spend some time together in a relaxed atmosphere. 🌍

This is what we love about our community! 🌞💬

Looking at the weather forecast on Monday we thought: “Hey, summer is finally coming back! Let’s see who’s up for a fun activity this week.”

So we sent out a quick survey in our Expat V WhatsApp group 📲🗳️.
Only 24 hours later, the decision was made – we’d go to the summer festival including a pub quiz in Dornbirn.

Yesterday we met to celebrate the comeback of summer – and the joy of spontaneous encounters! 🌅🎉
This spontaneity and the wish to celebrate even the small joys of life – like the return of sunshine and warmth in August – is what makes this group so unique.

Thanks everyone for making this community so special! ❤️🙌

A wonderful evening at the Poolbar Festival in Feldkirch! 🎶

This festival is not only a valuable contribution to Vorarlberg’s cultural scene – it’s also a place where people from all walks of life come together. For us, that meant locals and internationals connecting in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. 🌏

Last week, we joined the legendary Pool Quiz – and had an amazing time! 🧠
In several rounds, the quiz masters challenged us with questions ranging from history and sports to lifestyle and pop culture.

Thanks to our team's diverse backgrounds, we managed to answer a few more questions than usual – and had plenty of laughs along the way! 🌍
A pub quiz is such a fun and easy way to meet new people, exchange ideas, and share some friendly competition.

Good news: Expat V will host its own Pub Quiz in September – stay tuned! 📅

🌄 Monday Afterwork Hike – Margarethenkapf Edition 🌧️☀️

Last week Expat V started the week with a little Monday evening adventure 🥾🌿
A quick rain shower couldn’t stop us – instead, it gave us fresh air, green trails, and that perfect post-rain glow ✨🌲

We had a fantastic group – a mix of familiar faces 🤗 and new ones 😊 – and shared some great moments along the way. 🗣️💬

What better way to start the week than with a refreshing hike after work?

Last Saturday, a group of expats hiked up to Schafgafall at Lünersee — and wow, what a day! 🏞️⛰️

We were once again reminded of two things:
✨ The breathtaking beauty of our region
🌍 The incredible diversity of people who call it home

Hiking together is more than just climbing mountains — it’s about connecting, sharing stories, and enjoying the moment.

The sun was missing, but the smiles weren’t!
Our Expat Summer Party was full of warmth – no sunshine required. ☁️😊

Last Friday, more than 70 Expats from over 20 of our member companies joined us
for this cheerful celebration – and brought plenty of good vibes along! 🎉🌍

We didn’t just celebrate 2 years of Expat Service Vorarlberg – we celebrated how wonderfully our community has grown in that time.
From the very beginning, we’ve believed that people stay where they feel socially connected. 💬🤝

That’s exactly why we organise events like this one.
We were especially happy to see so many new connections forming – with phone numbers exchanged and new followers found on Instagram! 📱✨

There was laughter, chatting, exchanging ideas, and just a lot of fun all around. 📸😄

A big thank you to the beautifully renovated wuau Frastanz for hosting us
and treating us to delicious food and drinks. This location truly is a little oasis in Vorarlberg. 🍹🌿

🎳 Last Friday was bowling time with Expat V in Hohenems!

20 expats rolled it out to see who had the steadiest hand and sharpest aim.

Bowling isn’t just about strikes – it’s also a brilliant way to chat and connect between rounds, and many took full advantage of that!

Great to see so many of you there – see you next time! 🙌🌍

🍽️ Coming Together Through Food! 🌍
That was the vibe at the very first Expat V Taste the World Buffet – hosted in the amazing in Dornbirn!

We celebrated the rich diversity of our community by sharing flavours from all over the globe – and wow, did the buffet deliver! From spicy to sweet, from comforting to surprising – every dish told a story. 🌶️🍰

People brought their favourite homemade meals from India to Brazil, South Africa to France, Mexico to Serbia – a delicious journey across 5 continents in just one evening! 🌎✨

Even the local TV couldn’t resist – four brave expats shared their backgrounds and foodie favourites on camera. 🎥📺

Huge thanks to everyone who made this buffet so wonderfully rich and colourful. Watching bellies grow full and conversations grow deeper was the true highlight. 💬💛

Let’s do it again soon – because nothing brings people together like food! 🥳👫🍛

We are delighted that Expat Service Vorarlberg had the opportunity to participate in for the second time! 🎉

During an exclusive tour of the various exhibition spaces at this international art fair, we gained fascinating insights into galleries and artists. 🎨

It’s wonderful to see so much exceptional art making its way to Vorarlberg once a year. 🖼️

🎉 𝟐 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞! That calls for a toast! (At least with our coffee mugs ☕)

We could share impressive numbers—how many events we’ve hosted, how many expats we’ve reached, and how many times we’ve provided support via email, WhatsApp, or phone. 📊📞💬

But what truly matters to us is something else:

When we started in 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑, our mission was to help expats navigate Austria’s bureaucratic maze and build a 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. Over the past two years, we’ve seen so much gratitude—even when we could ease just one small bureaucratic hurdle. 💙

More than that, the 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐕 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 has grown into something special—beyond just our events. We love seeing expats now 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬, 𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬. 🏔️🎭

That’s what truly 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐬 us and 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 us to keep going this year! 💪 For an 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠, where international talents feel at home. 🌍🏡
