y and driving force of tomorrows economy. In business it is known, that you are far stronger together. With “pulldock – industrial innovation initiative” Carinthia sets one further milestone to a vibrant future. What’s PULLDOCK about? Pulldock enables European startups to cooperate with industrial enterprises in Carinthia in a 6-month program. Existing as well as products and services in a development stage will get all the support needed to get them ready, or develop them further, for the market. In this time period each industrial enterprise will provide a mentor to the startup they are cooperating with, who is in charge of coordinating and communicating with the startup. An important element of this program is a provided support framework for the startups as well as the enterprises to help them conquer the market. All needed topics and support will be provided by the project partners involved. PULLDOCKs Vision
Goal of the program is to bring local industrial enterprises together with startups, to concentrate the strengths and develop synergies between themselves. Through the sustainable cooperation of the involved stakeholders new enterprises should be founded in Carinthia, thereby generate new jobs and make the economy more competitive.

Im Herzen Europas, Teil der Alpe-Adria Region und Schnittpunkt dreier Kulturen und Sprachgruppen - Kärnten! Ein Ort, bekannt für ihre wunderschöne Landschaft, exzellente Lebensqualität und vielen hidden Champions, Großteils Weltmarktführer. Um sich zukünftig noch stärker im Bereich Gründer - Startups zu positionieren, werden seit mehreren Jahren in diesem Bereich Schwerpunkte gesetzt und Konzepte zur Förderung entwickelt. Startups und die Kreativindustrie sind nicht nur ein Trend, sie sind wesentlicher Bestandteil und treibende Kraft der Wirtschaft von morgen. Auch in der Wirtschaft gilt, gemeinsam ist man stärker als alleine. Mit „PULL DOCK – industrial innovation initiative“ setzt Kärnten den nächsten Meilenstein. What’s the program about? PULL DOCK ermöglicht es europäischen Startups (EU, EWR) gemeinsam mit heimischen Industriebetrieben im Rahmen eines 6 Monate dauernden Programms bestehende bzw. auch im Entwicklungsstadium befindliche Produkte und Dienstleistungen für neue Märkte fertig und weiterzuentwickeln. In diesem Zeitraum stellt der jeweilige Leitbetrieb dem kooperierenden Startup einen Mentor zur Verfügung, dem die Koordination und Kommunikation des Projektes unterliegt, zur Verfügung. Ein wesentliches Element stellt dabei auch die Bereitstellung eines teilweise standardisierten modularen Rahmenprogramms durch die Projektpartner dar, welches wesentliche Themen bei der Erschließung neuer Märkte abdeckt. Erklärtes Ziel des Programmes ist es, heimische Industriebetriebe mit Startups zusammenzuführen um einzelne Stärken zu bündeln und gemeinsame Synergien zu entwickeln. Durch eine nachhaltige Kooperation der Beteiligten soll im Idealfall eine Betriebsansiedelung/Unternehmensgründung am Standort Kärnten erfolgen, die langfristig neue Arbeitsplätze schafft und den Wirtschaftsstandort wettbewerbsfähiger macht.
