BeanSaver is rewriting that story.

In our interview, Vera Amtmann explains how the Austrian startup turns used coffee grounds and silver skins into tangible circular products – starting with a natural all-season fertilizer made from:

☕ 60% recycled coffee grounds
🐑 20% local sheep wool
🪵 20% wood from Austrian forests

With more than 66,000 tons of coffee beans consumed in Austria every year, about 99% of that ends as waste.
