OPEN CALL FOR ARTIST RESIDENCIES 2024-2025
Application period: 15.02.2024 – 29.02.2024
Location: Lavapiés, Madrid
new jörg Kunstverein welcomes applications from artists based in, or with strong ties to Austria and the Austrian art community; to develop their work over a period of up to two months in Madrid.
Residents are supported with a studio-apartment and local guidance, including peer to peer dialogue and studio-visits. The studio is furnished with a set of basic tools; specific needs can be discussed and should be clearly stated in the application.
We offer residencies with the goal of providing space for research, reflection, experiment and exchange. Every year we select 2 artists for the residency program.
Selected artists usually have finished an art relevant education, and must have at least 2-3 years of independent professional practice.
By this call, we are inviting artists for the period from September 2024 to August 2025.
