Skilling Australia Foundation Skilling Australia Foundation collaborates with business, industry and education providers to skill up young Australians to secure meaningful employment.

We exist to support youth into employment, more specifically into apprenticeships and traineeships and help them remain in employment. We operate Job Ready programs, as well as offer tuition fee relief and merit scholarships across Australia.

When a young person finishes school in Australia, they’re work-ready, right? Sadly, that’s increasingly not the case. Employers demand a diverse range and depth of skills – technical and non-technical – which regular school education won’t necessarily cover. This is where the Skilling Australia Foundation comes to the fore with our passion for skills-based education. We work in innovative ways to support young Australians facing disadvantage to forge their own career pathways through training and meaningful employment. By teaming up with schools, industry, business, governments and the vocational education and training sector, the Skilling Australia Foundation has helped more than 1,300 young people build the skills towards a meaningful career, setting them up for a career of their choice.
