You don't have to be "involved in the P&C" to come to a P&C meeting.

If you have kids at Public School, you're exactly who we'd like to hear from.

Our meetings are a chance to find out what’s happening, hear what the P&C is working on, ask questions, share ideas and have a voice in the things we do for our school.

And this time you can do all of that from your couch.

Why bother coming to a P&C meeting? We’ve got a few reasons 👆

The big one for us is simple: we want more parents and carers in the conversation.

You don’t need to join the committee. You don’t need to volunteer for anything. You don’t even need to leave the house this time.

Come along, hear what’s happening at Belair, share your thoughts if you want to, and help make sure our P&C reflects the wider school community.

We're love to thank another parent-owned local business to our growing list of Trivia Night sponsors.

A big thank you to Sam Hall Carpentry for joining us as a Bronze Sponsor.

Sam, who is also a Belair Public School parent, has generously donated one full day of carpentry or handyman labour to help us raise money for our school. This will be a fab prize to win in the raffle on the night!

It's fantastic to see members of our own school community getting behind this event, and we're incredibly grateful for Sam's generosity.

We’re four volunteers short for Friday’s Father’s Day Breakfast. Can you help us fill the gaps?

We’re expecting a great turnout of Belair Public School dads, father figures and kids on Friday morning, but to get all those bacon and egg rolls cooked and served, we need four more people on the BBQ team.

🍳 Friday 4 September
⏰ 7am to 9.30am
📍 Canteen COLA

No special BBQ skills required! We just need a few parents willing to jump in, cook some bacon and eggs and help us make the morning happen.

If you can spare a couple of hours on Friday morning, please grab one of the four remaining spots.

💙 Come have breakfast with us this Father’s Day!

This Friday 4 September, we’re inviting all our Belair dads, grandads and father figures to start the day with the kids and our school community.

Join us from 8am in the Canteen COLA for a bacon and egg roll, a hot drink and a chance to spend a bit of time together before the school day begins.

It's not too late to pre-order your bacon and egg roll + hot drink on Flexischools for just $3.50 and save some money. They’ll be $5 on the morning.

Jump onto Flexischools, place your order and then all you need to do on Friday morning is turn up hungry!

🎨 Each class. One masterpiece. And it could be yours! 🎨

Every Belair Public School class has worked together to create a unique artwork; and soon they’ll all be up for auction!

The artworks will be on display in the school hall from the Father’s Day Breakfast on Friday 4 September, right through to the Book Week Parade on Friday 11 September, before heading to Trivia Night for the auction finale.

💚 Bidding is completely online, so you don’t need to be at Trivia Night to take part.

⏰ Bidding closes 9pm Saturday 12 September.

All funds raised will go towards our P&C fundraising goal for new digital screens in our classrooms.

We will share the link here when the auction goes live!

🎁 Father’s Day gift sorted in a few clicks.

Our Father’s Day Gift Stall is on Thursday 3 September, giving the kids the chance to choose something special for the dads, grandads and father figures in their lives.

Gifts are $5 or $10, and the easiest way to get organised is to pre-purchase vouchers now on Flexischools. Just make sure you purchase enough if your child has more than one special person they’d like to buy for.

Prefer cash? That’s fine too. Kids can bring cash with them on the day.

And while the kids get the fun of choosing their own gifts, every purchase is also helping us towards our fundraising goal for new digital screens in Belair Public School classrooms.
