Nominate a trained volunteer for this year’s Australian Search and Rescue Awards.

The Professional Volunteer category recognises individuals and organisations who are trained in search and rescue and contribute their time and skills on a voluntary basis.

Many responses rely on volunteers working alongside paid responders, bringing professional capability to complex and high‑risk situations.

These contributions are essential to delivering effective search and rescue outcomes.

Now is the time to nominate individuals and organisations involved in trained-volunteer marine and land search and rescue.

CG06 crew out on duty today, here for boating safety. 🚤
Took the opportunity to complete some refresher drills and give the engines a run to keep everything ready for the next call-out. Staying prepared so we're ready when the community needs us. ⚓️

Please stay safe, check conditions carefully, and plan accordingly… or maybe make it a maintenance day instead.

Today, the O’Sullivan’s Beach Coastguard honours the courage and sacrifice of all who served and gave their lives for our freedom.

We also remember and thank our members and those who continue to serve in the emergency services, protecting our community every day.
