What an amazing day we had at Hallett Cove South Primary School today!

This morning, friends & family joined us for our Book Week Parade. Our theme this year being "Symphony Of Stories".

There was such a variety of costumes worn. We had everything from dinosaurs visiting us from the Mesozoic Era, to Alice, the Lorax, Bluey characters, princesses, wizards, a number of animals from different books, ninjas, the Police were keeping us in check & who knew that crayons could rock guitars?

Superhero comic Book characters were popular, with several Spidermen bumping into each other from thier different dimensions in the multiverse.

It was a very colourful parade as students & staff enjoyed sharing their characters. Some younger siblings also dressed up for the event, which was so good to see.

There were several Book Week activities & later in the afternoon, the school enjoyed our Annual Book Week Disco. I never thought I would see Luigi, Captain Underpants & a Pokemaon Ball dance. Whilst at first, I thought Mako was the GOAT, Sunny Baudelaire (AKA Will) proved to have the most amazing dance moves.

A very big thank you to Tracey for her amazing library displays & for organising a variety of activities, & to DJ Simon for being the best DJ, providing & setting up the disco equipment.

Thanks also to all of our Hallett Cove South Primary families for assisting the students with their amazing costumes. We sincerely hope that you have all enjoyed some time together, planning costumes & reading this week.

Our school certainly proved that when it comes to reading, there really is a big symphony of stories to read & love.

Good morning families,
Welcome back to school!

I have attached the term 2 calendar with important dates for term 2. A hard copy was sent home with your children yesterday. I will put a screenshot in the comments as well.

Unfortunately there will be a delay in the roll out of Frog this term. Once we have an update this will be communicated. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

For now please continue using seesaw.
Audiri is no longer used as a form of communication.
