Starting tomorrow - we can't wait!

Join us for 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗜𝗤𝗔+ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀, running every Saturday from 4 September until 17 October, 1.30–3.30pm.

These relaxed and welcoming workshops are a chance to get creative, meet others, express yourself and celebrate identity, belonging and community through art.

If you love being creative and would like to connect with your local LGBTIQA+ community, pop in this Saturday afternoon for the first workshop this month with local mixed media animator and illustrator Mitch Hearn.

Currently lecturing at Adelaide Uni, Mitch is looking forward to meeting you and working with community to create art which celebrates LGBTIQA+ identity.

Artwork made during this creative workshop series, will be brought together to become part of a large scale artwork made by community to be launched at a Feast Festival event at Ngutungka West Lakes in November.

🌱 Nature Festival 2026 is coming to our City.

From 25 September to 11 October, explore a range of nature-inspired events across our Charles Sturt Libraries and community centres.

This year's theme, 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨, celebrates the small beginnings that grow into something meaningful.
From fruit and veg swaps to author talks, creative workshops and family-friendly activities, there's many opportunities to explore, learn and grow together.

LGBTIQA+ PRIDE Community Art Workshops
🌈 LGBTIQA+ and allies welcome!
Ngutungka West Lakes 9 Charles Street West Lakes

Do you identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community? Would you like to meet new people, get creative, and be part of a fab new community art project celebrating 🌈 rainbow identity, joy, pride and belonging?

Then grab your ticket now for some relaxed, welcoming art-making afternoons! No prior artistic experience required. You're also welcome to attend any session (or come each week) held on Saturdays during Sept/Oct to have your art included in the project.

All sessions will be led by friendly and fabulous arty professionals who'll be there to make you welcome - with all materials will be provided. Artists Lissy Elliott and Mitch Hearn both bring a wealth of skill and talent to this creative series.

Artwork created during the workshops will be printed as a large format poster wrap which will become part of the Community Story Pole public art series at Ngutungka West Lakes.

The final installation of your art will be celebrated Sat 14 Nov at Ngutungka West Lakes as part of Feast Festival
