Media / gaming room soundproofing.

Solid core door + seals installed to reduce noise leakage.

Still an issue as the loud voice and yelling whilst gaming was still affecting family members. Solution was to install acoustic panels to absorb within the room.

Ceiling tiles above the door and gaming computer area.

27mm acoustic panel screwed onto the door so it could be removed if needed.

Clover acoustic panels NRC 0.90 glued to the wall above the lounge and gaming computer wall to absorb speech and yelling.

Panels from various suppliers to meet the acoustic needs and colours. So far a happy family 😀

NOISY AIR CONS | PUMPS | FILTERS

Soundlag for wrapping noisy air con compressors, heat pumps and covering pumps. 1650 x 675 x 25mm and cut with scissors, flexible and easy to use.

Cutting rectangles so the material can be slid over pipework from both ends so the motor/pump/filter can all be covered to reduce the noise as much as possible. Easy to remove for maintenance of filters. The ends are left open for motor air flow

Happy to do face time calls to look at your application to work out what is needed as a lot of material is sent interstate.

Soundlag is made in AU and has a 26dB Rw rating which is excellent and tech data is available upon request.

Bedroom where vibration was an issue, though not noticeable as such to most.

Downpipe was hard fixed to spreader box and path so it was cut and shortened so flexible connectors could be fitted at either end to de-couple and reduce some of the vibration. The wrapped with Sound Deadener mats to damp then Soundlag to reduce the noise which was successful so one issue solved.

Roof needed flashing to overcome leaking so the Sound Deadener was applied before installing to damp the vibration and de-couple from the existing roof once fitted. Again successful and all external vibration issues resolved.

Pool heater pump compressors wrapped with Soundlag to reduce the noise in the back yard to enjoy the pool without the unwanted noise.

Sound proofing the pump and filter (other post) has reduced noise significantly and looking at some acoustic foam on the back wall.

Only two materials needed Soundlag and Sound Deadener and cut to size on site so its a simple process and cost effective. Both are made in AU and tested.

Last job before Christmas...noisy pool heater and filter. Wrapped the filter pipe with Car Builders sound deadener to damp the vibration and noise as the pipe was moving around. Then wrapped with Soundlag to absorb and reduce more noise. Motor and filter then covered with Soundlag to complete the job. Simple and very effective. Now the customer can enjoy using their pool 😀
