We have lift off! 🚀

Kingston Community School are the state champions of the South Australian Kids in Space competition, one of only 13 schools selected to take part.

Years 3 and 4 students explored the issue of space debris and its impact on spacecraft systems. Working in teams, they researched, brainstormed and used design software to create and print a “Dusty” cleaning and repair robot concept.

Students are now looking forward to the national final in November at the Australian Space Agency, where they will have the opportunity to meet astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg.🪐

Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week. 🖤💛❤️

A time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. For the work of past generations and the benefit of future generations.

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, encourages all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.
