The Vinehealth team put the all-important ‘come clean, leave clean’ protocols into practice today while attending the AgVic Phylloxera Surveillance Workshop in Victoria.

In one of these photos, you’ll see vine roots with a small yellow blob — that’s called a nodosite. 🟡 Phylloxera live and feed inside these structures, and their presence can indicate that phylloxera may be nearby. Early detection is critical to protecting our vineyards.

A big thank you to Agriculture Victoria and wineaustralia for delivering such an in-depth and informative workshop. Collaboration like this strengthens our industry’s biosecurity response.
