Office of the Industry Advocate South Australia held the ๐ง๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด at U City Adelaide on 1 and 2 September 2026.
Across the two days, participants gained practical insights into South Australian government procurement, tender and request for quote (RFQ) writing, evaluation panel expectations, market competition, negotiations, and building strong client relationships for long-term success. The sessions were designed to help businesses better understand the procurement landscape, develop more competitive submissions, and increase their confidence when pursuing South Australian government opportunities.
During the sessions participants heard from Lead Consultant, Aboriginal Participation, Ashleigh Easthope and Acting Industry Advocate, Phillip Dowsett who shared the Office of the Industry Advocate's mission and purpose and highlighting the support available to South Australian businesses.
The presentations were facilitated by Justin Sara, ProbitySA, who provided practical advice and real-world examples and perspectives, helping equip participants with the knowledge and tools to navigate procurement processes more effectively.
