If you’re an individual with physical disability, acquired brain injury or degenerative neurological condition, live in SA and are over 18, you can apply for a chance to be awarded up to $250 to spend on holiday related purchases!*

Our sibling organisation, JFM Fund, is providing funding for an Accessible Menstrual Health Education project being delivered by Community Bridging Services (CBS) and TABOO.

As part of the project, TABOO is inviting people with a range of experiences and knowledge to help co-design practical, accessible resources about menstrual health, period care and support.

Expressions of Interest are now open for people who would like to be involved in the co-design.

They welcome Expressions of Interest from:
• People with disability with lived experience of menstruation
• People who have experience supporting someone with menstrual health and period care
• Support workers
• Family members and people providing informal support
• People working in the disability sector
• People with knowledge or experience in accessibility, inclusion, menstrual health, education or service delivery.

No previous co-design or research experience is required. Diverse experiences, perspectives and knowledge are valued.

Participants will take part in 4–6 listening and co-design sessions between September 2026 and February 2027, with opportunities to share their ideas, experiences and feedback.

Participants will be paid for sessions attended in recognition of their time, expertise and contribution.

How to express your interest

In a few short paragraphs, tell the project team what interests you about the project, why you would like to be involved, and what you would like to contribute. There are no right or wrong answers.

We won't stop fighting for the NDIS.

We share the feeling of disappointment that the NDIS Bill passed the Senate last night largely as it was originally proposed. This wasn't due to a lack of effort on the part of our communities and we should be proud of our collective work to achieve some improvements.

Over recent months, we’ve made multiple submissions about the Bill and written to the Minister, Shadow Minister, state ministers, and all SA senators. We’ve also met with advisers to bring community views and priorities into these conversations.

We’ve urged decision makers to work with people with disability to co-design sensible reforms that strengthen the Scheme without cutting vital supports.

We are working to fully understand the impacts of the latest changes agreed in Parliament yesterday and what opportunities there will be to influence how the Bill is implemented.

We will keep using our platform to advocate alongside people with disability for a strong and fair NDIS.
