A reminder that our AGM kicks off tomorrow at 12 pm with a BBQ lunch, followed by the AGM. Please note the SGM component of the day has been postponed until a later date as there is no State business requiring our attention at this time.
BBQ is free for financial members and $5 for non-financial members.

Hi all, Just a friendly reminder that the Magill RSL AGM is being held on Sunday 24 May 26, from 12.00pm.
The AGM will begin with a bbq lunch followed by an SGM to discuss and determine State Business for the upcoming State Branch AGM and then the AGM.
As such the Nomination forms for all of the Committee Positions are now open and available at the Sub-Branch, along with the Notices for SGM, AGM and Election.

If you haven’t yet paid your membership this year, there is still time to pay prior to the AGM (to be financial) but the cut-off is 15 May 26 at 4.00pm to pay. You may renew at the Sub-Branch or at the RSL SA Branch online via the website rslsa.org.au

Come join us at our VERY popular Schnitzel Night this Friday May 8th. With the current cost of living crisis forcing a lot of people to cut back, we are keeping our prices down so our valued members, friends and visitors can still get out for a decent feed without having to worry about cost. Our bar prices are also budget friendly, and we welcome everyone. We are family friendly, with a pool table and various board games for everyone to enjoy. We’ll also have the tvs tuned into the footy/cricket/race (or anything big that’s going on) so you won’t miss a thing!

Tomorrow (05/05) is our free Veterans’ Luncheon at the Magill RSL. Our luncheon brings together our service members and their partner or carer, to enjoy a free fish, chips and coleslaw meal, followed by a lovely homemade dessert. We offer a friendly, relaxed and comfortable setting for our visitors so they can gather for a chat with others, enjoy a light lunch and a small, fun (and cheap) raffle. You don’t need to be a member of our RSL, or any RSL, to come along. Partners and carers also eat free. Club room opens at 11am and lunch is served at 12noon.

Come along tonight to the Magill RSL and enjoy Jamie’s Hotshots JAZZ Band.
Where else will you find free, quality entertainment.
Light nibbles for minimal cost and reasonably priced bar drinks.
Band starts at 630pm til 830pm so you can make an early night of it if you wish.
Catering to members and the public and all are welcome.
