Year 11 and 12 students from the Port Lincoln High School and the TLC engaged in a three-day barista course with Workabout Centre this week.

The course involved a day of theory learning, a day of learning to make different types of coffee, learning barista terminology and working as a team to take, make and deliver orders.

Today, day 3, was a community service day where over 150 free coffees were served to members of the community, school and department staff and organisations such as West Coast Youth Service and Port Lincoln Aboriginal Health Services.

Thank you to all involved and a big congratulations to the students for a successful course and service day.
