Did someone say STRONGEST CAMPAIGN YET!!!? 💚
We’re beyond excited that soon we will be hearing Melanie Selwood’s powerful voice in Parliament, alongside Robert Simms. And, with The Greens best ever Legislative Council result, it’s looking promising for Katie McCusker too.
After running a powerful, joyful, grassroots campaign in Heysen – The Greens are still in the race. Whilst the final results are being counted, there is still a path to victory for Genevieve Dawson-Scott.
The support for The Greens has been growing. Our primary vote has grown, and so far we’re on track for significant swings, while outpolling the Liberals in several seats across the state.
It was all you. Across the state, thousands of people turned out to fight for hope over division. Together, we’ve just delivered the best results in The South Australian Greens’ history.
To our volunteers who’ve given their all - standing out on polling booths, delivering flyers, knocking on doors, making phone calls, and so much more - you made all the difference.
The next four years will be big.
Not just for parliament, but for our movement too.
The work isn’t over.
This is just the beginning of our bold vision for South Australia. Living here shouldn’t cost you the earth. Together, we’re pushing to fix that – and fight for stronger action on the climate crisis. Together, we can do this.
