Congrats to the parents and staff for all the magnificent costumes!

I’ve also had a brilliant time reading to so many kids this week. There’s nothing better than a good book - or more important than children’s literacy 📚

We kicked off hearings into the National Trust of South Australia at Moonta today 🌱

Thanks to everyone who showed our committee around the key attractions, gave evidence or wrote one of the 110 submissions we’ve received.

The next hearing is in Adelaide in two weeks and will be broadcast online via the SA Parliament site 💻

Maybe the most impactful thing I’ve done as an MP so far has been to ensure UTI medication is now available directly from your pharmacist 👩🏼‍⚕️

The service has been in action for two years …. and the results are in! 📊

There’s been a 27.3% reduction in UTI presentations to our metro emergency departments, and a 23.2% drop at country EDs, relieving pressure on sufferers - and our health system.

👩🏼‍⚕️ 1335 SA pharmacists trained
💊 14,400 consultations done
👨🏾‍⚕️ No adverse outcomes reported, attesting to the safety of the service.
