Council is developing a masterplan for the central business district - and we want to hear from you.

Chat with Council staff and tell us what matters most to you in the heart of Mount Barker.

🗺️ The plan area includes key locations from the Dunn and Bickle land in the north, the railway line in the east, Hampden Road in the south and the Dumas Street Park ‘n’ Ride in the west.

🔜 This is the first stage of engagement. A draft masterplan will be released for feedback in early 2026.

Swimming is more fun and safer when enjoyed together.

In addition to physical barriers for children to access swimming pools, consider these tips to reinforce the importance of swimming together.

Lead by example – remind children that swimming is a “together” activity, consistently modelling safe water habits and activities for them to learn from.

Buddy system –encourage swimming with a buddy at all times, whether this includes a parent or another responsible adult.
