About us
Situated between the city and the sea, the City of West Torrens is made up of approximately 63,000 residents. The City of West Torrens spans an area of around 37 square kilometres and is made up of an eclectic mix of nationalities, many who are new migrants to our country. We have a variety of residential and industrial areas, and a number of large shopping precincts, including Harbour To
wn and HomeCo. We are also the gateway for many travellers with the Adelaide Airport being located within our city.

Our page is monitored and maintained between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. We welcome your comments and questions and will reply to queries as soon as we can, however sometimes there may be a delay if we need to seek additional advice to respond to your query. It is important to us that we respond to you in a timely manner and, where possible, we will aim to respond to you within 24 hours (with the exception of weekends). All comments and posts will be moderated by Council staff and language filtering programs will be used to block certain words. Therefore, there may be some time delay in posts appearing on our site.
