On 25 June 1991, the Slovenian people courageously embraced the opportunity to shape their own future, turning generations of hopes and aspirations into reality. Today, we proudly honour those who made independence possible and celebrate the achievements of Slovenia over the past 35 years.
Although we are many thousands of kilometres from our homeland, Slovenians in South Australia remain deeply connected to our heritage, language, culture, and the land of our ancestors.
