Cadelga Outstation Ruins, Cordillo Road, via Innamincka, is the Northern-most State Heritage Place in South Australia, just under 9km from the Queensland border.

The land was taken up by settlers in 1866 after hearing glowing accounts of the lands potential for pastoral settlement. Cadelga's subsequent history reflects the hardships encountered by pastoralists from isolation and drought and is now a significant landmark by the Strzelecki Track.

Umpherston Sinkhole / Balumbul was confirmed as a State Heritage Place in 1995. Now sometimes known as the ‘Sunken Garden’, it was developed in 1886 by James Umpherston who erected and planted terraced, Victorian English gardens.

Although the gardens fell into disrepair sometime after Umpherston’s death in 1900 restoration in the 1970s by the then Woods and Forests Department Social Club and subsequent purchase by the City of Mount Gambier in 1994 has made Umpherston Sinkhole one of the most highly visited attractions in Mount Gambier.

On this day, 8 June 1881, the first prisoner arrived at Gladstone Gaol, Ward Street, Gladstone. The Gaol was closed permanently in 1975 and was confirmed as a State Heritage Place in 1985. Gladstone Gaol was built to supplant Burra’s Redruth Gaol and is an important link to the evolution of penal design philosophies and construction techniques in the State.

Former West's Coffee Palace, 104 - 120 Hindley Street ADELAIDE was confirmed as a State Heritage Place in 1984.

The place represents works by the significant South Australian architect Albert Selmar Conrad and is an excellent example of the Edwardian Free Style of architecture. Built in 1903, it is one of the best examples of the architecture of the Federation period (1890 to 1915) in South Australia.
