The 7th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, also known as ‘7 RAR’ is Army’s premiere mechanised infantry battalion. We are located in Adelaide, South Australia.

7 RAR provides the mechanised infantry close combat capability to the 9th Brigade Combined Arms team.
