📚🎭 NASHS celebrated Book Week this week with a host of fun activities inspired by the theme "A Symphony of Stories". Our book parade on Thursday brought the library to life with an array of wonderful characters, including our super-creative English Department as the Very Hungry Caterpillar . A special thank you to Mr Le Page for MCing the parade, and to our incredible library team; Jean, Kirsty and Sarah for their efforts in organising such a memorable week. Well done to everyone who got dressed up and got involved! 🌟

As part of WAAPA’s visit to Albany, prospective students, families and community members are invited to attend the WAAPA Courses to Careers Information Evening at Albany Port Theatre on Monday 31 August at 5.00pm.

This free event is open to anyone from the Great Southern interested in learning more about the CUA50820 Diploma of Music, delivered in Albany, as well as WAAPA’s extensive range of performing arts programs available at Edith Cowan University’s stunning new city campus.

🌟 Students Giving Back to the Community 🌟

A group of our amazing student volunteers recently participated in a Give Write Sorting Day, supported by the Albany & Regional Volunteer Service.

Students spent the day sorting, counting, and packing donated school supplies that will be distributed to students in need. Their teamwork, enthusiasm, and commitment helped ensure that local students have access to the resources they need to succeed in their learning.

We are incredibly proud of our volunteers for making a positive difference in our community and demonstrating the caring spirit of our school.

A special thank you to Monica Smith from Give Write , Sarah Udesz from Albany & Regional Volunteer Service, and Ms Greenhart, who coordinates our Certificate II in Active Volunteering, for making this valuable opportunity possible.

Well done to all involved for making a real difference in our community! 👏✨
