Parent–Teacher Interviews will be held on Monday 14 September 2026, with appointments available from 2:45pm–5:45pm.

We strongly encourage all families to make a booking with their child’s teacher. These 15-minute appointments are a valuable opportunity to check in on your child’s progress, celebrate their achievements and discuss their next steps for learning.

🏉 Osprey Cup Touch Football Carnival 2026! ❤️💙

A huge well done to our selected Year 5 and Year 6 students who represented Alexandra Hills State Primary School at the Osprey Cup Touch Football Competition on Wednesday!

We were so proud of the way they played, supported one another and represented our school throughout the day. 👏

A special congratulations to Ben, Waaka and Emma, who were each awarded Best and Fairest! 🌟

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Ms Macartney, Alex and Summer from Alexandra Hills State High School for supporting our touch teams on the day and across the past six weeks. Your support has been invaluable and we’ve loved working together!

A big thank you to our wonderful P&C for another successful Father’s Day Stall! 💙🎁

We’re also very grateful to all of the volunteers who gave up their time to help run the stall over the past couple of days.

Our students absolutely loved choosing something special for the dads, grandads and important people in their lives. Thank you for helping make it happen! ❤️

Our students loved having a turn with the fire hose… and Mrs Anderson’s HPE class just happened to be in the perfect spot for a very gentle sprinkle! 😂

🚒🔥 A VERY exciting visit from Capalaba Fire & Rescue Station! 🔥🚒

Today our students had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the amazing crew from Capalaba Fire & Rescue Station to Alexandra Hills State Primary School!

We learnt so much about fire safety, what to do in an emergency and how firefighters help keep our community safe. Of course, the highlight was getting up close to the fire truck… and even having a turn with the fire hose! 💦🚒

There may also have been a very enthusiastic attempt to give Mrs Anderson and our Year 2 students an unexpected shower during their HPE lesson… 😂💦

A HUGE thank you to the wonderful firefighters from Capalaba Fire & Rescue Station for giving up their time, sharing their knowledge and making the visit so engaging, memorable and FUN for our students.

We absolutely loved having you at our little school! ❤️💙

🦸‍♀️💙❤️ Celebrating our Teacher Aide Superheroes! ❤️💙🦸‍♂️

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the incredible Teacher Aides who make such a difference at Alexandra Hills State Primary School every single day.

Our TAs are so much more than an extra pair of hands. They are encouragers, problem-solvers, cheerleaders, calm voices, trusted adults and champions for all of our students. They notice the little things, celebrate every bit of progress and give so generously of their time, care and energy.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding team of people supporting our students, teachers and families. The contribution they make to our school simply cannot be overstated.

To our wonderful Teacher Aides — thank you for everything you do, every single day. Our school is a better place because of you, and we hope you know just how valued and appreciated you are. 💙❤️
