Mini Sports Athletics Carnival at Amamoor State School 🏆

Our cluster schools of Dagun, Kandanga, Mary Valley and Amamoor joined together today with a rainy start but a lovely sunny day to end!

Congratulations to all students on competing with fun and sportsmanship. Special mentions to the athletes who helped out their competitors during the events and congratulated each other 🤩

Thank you to Gympie Salvos and Amamoor State School P&C Association for a delicious canteen today. The burgers and baked goods were amazing!

Hugh thanks to all the staff for the help before, during and after the event to allow it run smoothly. We look forward to joining again together at Mary Valley State College on Thursday 18th for the remaining events and ball games.

Introducing our Wellbeing Officer: Jorge-Ella.

This week we have welcomed Jorge-Ella to our beautiful community. You will see her serving up breaky, at Playgroup, supporting the students in play at lunch time and providing wellbeing sessions to students, staff and families.

Orders for the pizza are open now on QKR and close Thursday 18th June.

Mary Valley Athletics Carnival : Friday 12 June at Amamoor State School

🍔 The Amamoor State School P&C Association and Gympie Salvos are running a Canteen on the day and orders are due by midnight of Tuesday 9 June. Orders can be placed via the Qkr! App.

🚍 Parents and carers are welcome to attend the carnival. Code of Conduct for all attendees applies.

This Mini Sports Day is for Prep - Year 6 students from Amamoor, Dagun and Kandanga. This year we welcome the 10-12 year olds students from Mary Valley as they join us to trial for the Mary Valley Cluster team for the Gympie District Athletics Trials.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to a fantastic day of athletics and friendly competition!
