📣REMINDER - Monthly Branch Meeting

Our members get together once a month to work on our Branch business. This may look like planning community events, brainstorming new ideas, going through budgets, implementing hall improvements, inducting new members, and spending time to chat with a cuppa enjoying each other's company ☕️🍰

If you would like to see what we are about or put forward your own ideas of how we can better serve our community, we would love for you to join us.

🌟 A huge thank you to everyone who supported the CWA Ambrose Branch Cent Sale today! 🌟

It was wonderful to see so many people come along, enjoy the afternoon, and help make the event such a success 💜

🚨 A special thank you to the SES volunteers who came along to assist on the day. We are so grateful for your support and willingness to help ensure the event ran smoothly.

🎁 Congratulations to all of our lucky winners, and thank you for helping us raise funds that will support the work of our branch and future community activities.

🤝 Events like these are only possible because of our amazing community, and we are thankful for every contribution, big or small.

💐 Thank you all for another fantastic day. We look forward to seeing you again at our next event!

🤩📣REMINDER - CENT SALE TOMORROW + ALTERNATE ACCESS***!!

📅When - 6th June
🏡Where - QCWA Ambrose Hall, 36 Gentle Annie Rd Ambrose
⌚️Time - Doors open at 12pm for a 1pm start
💰Pricing - $5 entry which gives you 1 Hoy game card and 1 lucky door prize ticket. $0.20 each extra Hoy game card. $5 for a 10 raffle ticket booklet for our multidraw raffle. $1 a ticket in our single draw raffle. CASH ONLY PLEASE
💌Bookings - To book a spot please message us with the number of people you would like to attend. We will do our best to cater for all but please note we only have limited seats and bookings are secured in order they are received

We start off with a few rounds of Hoy, each round winner receiving a prize. We then have time to chat and enjoy a cuppa and light refreshments lovingly provided by the Ambrose Branch Members (we also have cold softdrinks and bottled water for $2 each). Finishing off the afternoon, we have our single and multi draw raffles with lots of great prizes to be won ⭐️

All are welcome to come along. We would love for you to join us for a great afternoon 🤗

***ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ENTRY RAMP WILL BE CLOSED FOR USE! Unfortunately, the accessibilty ramp is currently in need of repair, so for safety reason it will not be available for use this weekend. However, we will have two lovely members of the SES attending to help anyone needing assistance up the front stairs. Please reach out if you require any further info on the alternate accessibility.

June is here❄️🥶

We recently needed to replace our old concrete water tank after it developed some cracks, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! 😁💦

A huge thank you to Nu Tank Rockhampton for their exceptional customer service throughout the whole process. Everything was smooth, professional and easy from start to finish.👌

We also want to give a massive shout out to Frank Fraser from Dundee Holdings, who generously donated his time, machine and materials to complete the base work for the new tank. Your support and generosity are so appreciated.🙏✨️

We’re super excited about this latest upgrade to our hall. Having the new tank in place means we can now host more events and continue hiring the hall out for functions for our community to enjoy.🎊
