🍃 Botanical Art Workshop 🌿

Take some time out for yourself and reconnect with your creativity in this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop.

Using watercolours and watercolour pencils, we'll explore the beauty of leaves and flowers, focusing on the joy of creating rather than the end result. No drawing skills are needed, just bring your curiosity, creativity and an open mind!

Because you’re about to be!

Come to Apollo Bay Community Hall on Friday 11 September 11th for a fun movie night event for 10-17yo. This community event is held by Marrar Woorn and supported by our local year 9 students in the IBL class.

We will begin at 5pm with quiet board games, then active group games and competitions, until we settle down with a comfy place to sit while you watch Inside Out 2, and a taco dinner to enjoy, including vegetarian, and gluten free options.

It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a movie night or yummy food (tacos & popcorn available to buy), hang out with or make new friends, and overall have a fun night!

We aim to connect members of the community, and share the R U OK message to celebrate R U OK Day, and their values, and raise awareness about the mental health of 10-17 year olds.

See you there!!

Our new sandpit is open for business! We just ask that you please put the lid back on with bricks on top when you're finished. Come and enjoy this beautiful afternoon and feel free to help yourself to a tea or coffee from the kitchen. We're looking forward to seeing some sand enthusiasts soon!

We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Thrive 50+ Healthy Ageing Hub at Marrar Woorn Neighbourhood House in Apollo Bay!

The Thrive Healthy Ageing Hub is a welcoming place where people aged 50 and over can stay connected, focus on their wellbeing, and access information and support to help them live healthy, independent lives in their own homes and communities.

💙 The Hub can help you:

✅ Connect with local social and community groups
✅ Access allied health services, including physiotherapy, dietetics, exercise programs, and social work
✅ Learn about in-home support options such as domestic assistance, personal care, transport, and shopping services
✅ Navigate and register with My Aged Care
✅ Explore pathways to mental health, wellbeing, and financial support services
