Get in touch with us if you’d like to book in for a dawn discovery tour, and witness some of the magic of the Otways 🌅

There is something magic about the Sanctuary in autumn. The air gets a little crisper, and we are treated to some truly golden sunsets that transform the forest canopy. It’s a beautiful time to watch the seasonal shifts take place as the landscape prepares for the cooler months ahead 💚

Sometimes you gotta work extra hard for the best reward!

Koalas are folivores - they only eat leaves, specifically eucalypt leaves. Eucalypt leaves are very fibrous, and the eucalyptus oil in them is highly toxic to most animals, so koalas have a keen sense of smell that helps them choose the most nutrient rich and least toxic leaves. To access these leaves, koalas sometimes show off their acrobatic prowess!
