The No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) delivered in partnership with Good Shepherd, NAB, and the Australian Government provides people on low incomes with access to safe, fair & affordable credit. The No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) provides individuals and families on low incomes with access to safe, fair and affordable credit. Loan are up to $1,500 depending on Income, for essential goods and service

s such as car rego / repairs, fridges, washing machines, furniture, relocation costs and education essentials such as laptops, tablets text books. Repayments are set up at an affordable amount over 12 months to 18 months

To be eligible for NILS you must have a Health Care Card or earn less than $45,000 a year (after tax). Have lived at current address for more than three months and show a willingness and capacity to repay the loan. The No Interest Loan Scheme (Nils) provides community members on low incomes access to safe, fair and affordable credit. Provided in a respectful assessment process
