We are getting excited as it is almost time… just one sleep to go before we host the Welcome connection event in partnership with Local Jobs New England North West at the Tamworth Jockey club, Saturday 31st May, 4pm - 7.30pm.

Bring a plate of food to share at this free community event… bring your family and friends and come along for an afternoon of fun and social connection! There will be a jumping castle, craft activities, badge making, a bar to purchase drinks, a community drumming circle hosted by The Con and a free sausage sizzle!

Join us for the New Resident Connection Event, a relaxed and family-friendly gathering designed to help you meet other new residents and locals in the Tamworth Region, make new friends, and feel right at home here in Tamworth.

Regional Development Australia (RDA) is seeking highly-motivated leaders with vision, drive, and strong ties to their region.

Applications are open for multiple RDA Committee Chair positions across Australia. The RDA Chair leads their local RDA Committee, working closely with the committee members, federal, state and local governments, and key business and industry organisations to directly inform, support and promote the growth and development of their local region.

Share your experiences and feedback about regional visas with the Department of Home Affairs in Tamworth tomorrow.

These sessions are being held by the Department of Home Affairs to hear directly from stakeholders on matters associated with regional migration settings. These sessions will allow local businesses and individuals to have their say in-person, and the Department will collate and incorporate the feedback into the policy advice to the Government.

The Tamworth session will be held on Tuesday the 20th of August from 11am to 12 noon at the Passchendaele Room of the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall. Attendance is free, but registration is requested: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1271043
