🚒 24/7. 365 Days a Year. Ashbourne CFS is here when the community needs us. 🚒

Bushfires. Storms. Road crash rescue. Community support. Day or night, weekends, public holidays or when the weather turns bad — Ashbourne CFS volunteers are ready to answer the call.

But we can’t do it alone.

We’re looking for locals who want to give back to their community, learn new skills, meet great people and be part of something bigger.

You don’t need experience — just a willingness to help.

Today we pause to reflect and remember those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We honour their courage, their stories, and the legacy they leave behind.

Lest We Forget. 🌺

Good morning everyone, let's stand strong together! A generous supply of sand and sandbags is now available at the rear of the Ashbourne CFS Station, ready for you to fill and take as many as you need to protect your homes and community. Please be mindful of others and take only what you need. If we need to replenish the supply, kindly contact the Ashbourne CFS via this page. For the latest warnings and advice, please refer to the official SA State Emergency Service updates at https://www.ses.sa.gov.au/home/. Let's look out for each other and stay safe!

At Ashbourne CFS, our volunteers are farmers, tradies, teachers, parents, retirees and everything in between. By day, we do our regular jobs. When the pager goes off, we put on the uniform and look after our community.

You don’t need to be a firefighter already. We provide the training, the gear, and the support — you bring your willingness to help and be part of a team

Yesterday afternoon, Ashbourne CFS responded to the fires at Nangkita Road, working alongside neighbouring brigades and CFS aviation resources to support operations on the ground.

Crews faced some challenging conditions, but everyone put in a solid effort and worked well together to get the job done. A good example of teamwork and training being put into practice when it counts.

CFS Resources will continue to work on this fire for some days. To make sure you have the most current information, please refer to the CFS Website
