Youth Week is the only young people-organised and managed mass participation event in Australia. It is organised by local young people, for local young people, in communities across the state. There will be hundreds of events held across NSW throughout Youth Week celebrating the positive contributions young people make to our society and providing opportunities for young people to organise their own events.

What is the Big Campbelltown Sleepout?
Youth homelessness is a growing issue that impacts countless young people in the community.

The rate of homelessness among young people in the Macarthur region is roughly 35 young people per 10,000 people experiencing homelessness.

Every night, up to 300 young people across the Macarthur region – aged 14 to 18 – don’t have a permanent bed. They are couch surfing, sleeping rough, or living temporarily with friends.

A fundraiser sleepout is not just an event; it’s an opportunity to step into the shoes of those experiencing homelessness, even if only for a night.

📅Date and time: 16 April - 17 April 2025, 4:00pm - 8:00am
📍Location: Billabong Parklands, Campbelltown
💰Cost: $5.00
